Chinese Ming Dynasty Xuande blue and white porcelain bowl. With simply gently rounded side emerging steeply to a slightly everted rim, raised on the concave footed ring base. The exterior hand-painted in cobalt-blue and white of a group children various pursuit and playing in the grass field with flowers blooms, big tree, foliage, and scrolling ruyi clouds in the sky on the continuous panorama landscape. The glaze appearance on the blue painting resembled the texture of an orange peel "ju-pi" (chu-p'i) or chicken skin.
