参阅：《故宫博物院藏文物精品大系—藏传佛教造像》页191，号182。宗喀巴大师是藏传佛教格鲁派的创立者、佛教理论家，被格鲁派认为是文殊菩萨的化身，故其造像多以莲花、宝剑及经卷作标识。此宗喀巴像头戴桃形僧帽，帽带垂肩，身披袈裟和。右手手于胸前结说法印，左手置于腹前捧宝瓶。结跏趺坐于莲花座上，剁底法封底，内藏五药（茯苓﹑朱砂﹑雄黄﹑人参﹑赤箭），以十字金刚杵封藏。整像铸造精美，衣服上錾刻细密工整的花纹，通体鎏金细致厚重，金色颇佳，为十八世纪造像之精品。
