Sturdily and robustly potted after archaic bronze protoypes with a pear-shaped body supported on a short foot, tapering to a tall neck with a garlic-head mouth and upright mouthrim, the body decorated with three large roundels each enclosing an Arabic inscription within a diamond-shaped frame, with further smaller roundels and diamond panels enclosing Arabic script, the shoulder and mouth rim each decorated with a diaperband, with similar decoration around the foot, the recessed base inscribed with a six-character Cheng-Te mark, 28 inch high.
