5 Pairs Chinese and Japanese Ceramics: China, 19th - 20th century. a) Pair of Chinese export ceramic figures in orange robes upending basket of flowers, with China mark on back of base; b) Pair of Chinese export ceramic figures of woman in green and purple robe, one hand extended holding flower, unclear mark on base; c) Pair of Chinese export ceramic two-tiered candleholders in red glaze with cranes; d) Pair of Chinese rectangular bodied vases in green, purple, yellow glazes with mark on base; e) Pair of kutani vases in red and white with scholarly figures. Dimensions are: a) 11 1/2 inches tall X 3 inches wide at base; b) 8 3/4 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches at base; c) 5 3/4 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches wide; d) 8 inches tall X 2 1/2 inches wide; e) 7 inches tall X 2 1/2 inches at base. All measurements are approximate. Condition: a) Fingers intact; chipping at sleeves and leaves around base; b) Heads have been re-glued, minor chipping around neck and base; c) overall good condition; d) repair to mouth of vase, some chipping at base; e) firing crack under base, does not appear on face of vase.
