Photos taken by Marguerite Brown (later Gundlach) in 1948, of members of diplomatic corps, historical figures, and subjects in traditional regional clothing. Includes an image of General Ma Bufang, a Ma clique warlord during the Republic period. Also includes a small, painted canvas image of Hindu god Ganesha. Dimensions are: largest frame - 14 5/8 inches long X 11 5/8 inches wide; Ganesha image - 5 1/8 inches long X 4 5/16 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
