Two antique Japanese nestuke including: a resting water buffalo made from stag antler and a house made from bone. The himotoshi are on the underside of the buffalo and on the upper back side of the house. The house features small carved people in the interior and has a 2 character signature on the bottom. Dimensions are: buffalo - 1 inch tall X 2 1/8 inches wide; house - 1 1/2 inches tall X 1 3/8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The buffalo's tail is broken and it has other areas of wear. There is also some wear, mild chipping, and age cracks to the house.
