印盒，亦称印奁，是盛放印泥的文房用具。小巧精致，以瓷质为最佳。前人有「印色池，惟瓷器最宜。若瓦器，耗油。铜锡有锈。玉与水晶及烧料俱有潮湿之弊，大害印色。近有以石为之，亦不适用。」此印盒呈椭圆形，子母口相合。通体施白釉，盖面皆以青花釉里红描绘渔女图。青花釉里红俗称「青花加紫」，以其色彩绚美而闻名于世。由于烧制时釉里红发色不如青花稳定，所以其本身制作难度较纯青花大许多，历朝能制作出理想的釉里红器并不是很多，故一直被视为我国古瓷中的名贵品种。这件印盒青花发色深沈，铜红加绘不规则的花纹，蓝色雅致，红色绚丽，两者相互辉映，融为一体，有着独特的韵味，是一件较为难得的书案文具。
