释文：不见一法存无见,犹如太虚生闪电，不知一法守空知，大似浮云遮日面。此之知见瞥然兴，错认何曾解方便，汝当一念自知非，自己灵光常显现。董其昌的书法不仅风格秀美飘逸，并且创造出潇洒出尘、变化无端的艺术形象，以此开启了明代书坛的一代新风，而后更因“虚和取韵”的主张、章法布白的独到，创造出书法艺术“淡”美形式的新面貌。再究其草书，早年时候用笔多使中锋，笔画细劲，行笔间起伏小，结字宗怀素；七十岁以后则中、侧并用，线条变化丰富，富有内涵，笔力深蕴，结字于怀素外另参杨凝式、米芾诸家，一任自然，生秀淡雅。此幅草书慧能《示智常偈》布局疏朗，点画轻盈，用笔精到，具有董氏“萧散自然”的书风特征。
