A pair of French silver mounted pedestal glass bowls by Joseph Crossard, 1838-1972 1st standard, the silver rims pierced with ribbon tied meandering flowering foliage, the bowls cut and engraved, the detachable silver bases waisted, 16cm (6 1/4in) high, 20cm (8in) diameter, in a fitted case Joseph Crossard was a manufacturering silversmith active in Paris from 1900 untill 1920. He traded at 36 rue de Montmorency in the Marais district.
