An Art Deco aquamarine and diamond clip by Cartier London, circa 1935, the geometric arrow head shaped clip set with a central line of baguette cut aquamarines bordered by Swiss cut diamonds, the arrow head base set with further baguette cut aquamarines and brilliant cut diamonds, with a kite shaped aquamarine beneath, approximate total diamond weight 1.10 carats, signed Cartier London, numbered 232, 3.7cm long, 14.2g gross Literature: Rudoe, J., 'Cartier 1900 - 1939' P284, item number 227, for an aquamarine and diamond tiara made by English Art Works for Cartier London in 1937, noting the central removable clip which is of a similar design to the lot offered here.
