A set of six late Victorian silver handled table and dessert knives with pistol gripsLondon, 1898, by Daniel and John Welby,having Georgian style plain octagonal pistol grip handles and fitted with James Dixon & sons Ltd Firth stainless steel blades, crested (12)table knives length 24.6 cm., desert knives length 20.2 cm. Condition: Handles showing heavy wear with all over scratches and small surface dents, crests heavily worn and marks rubbed to some knives. Steel blades possibly later replacements, most do not fit snugly to the handle and a gap is present
