Hand made early 19th century English mahogany cabinet. Was made as an apprentice piece, where furniture is made on very small scale for the design effect to be made full size if desirable. Tiny fruit-wood inlay surrounds the concave door with tiny knob. Ornate brass medallion on either side with a small hole above which must have housed a loop handle at one point. Finished on the top as well.Beautiful patina to the wood. Two equal size compartments inside. Excellent condition other than minor wear to the wood above the door..Measures 18.5 H X 9.5 D X 12 L.Item ID: CE3997
