Unique copper wall hanging or dual jardiniere comes from 18th century England. The two , hand forged were married early 1900's by a very talented iron work specialist with the addition of a heavy wrought iron back brace for the top piece jointed to an oval bottom rack for the lower piece to rest in. An additional very sturdy wall hanger is included. The back support brace extends to a large hook at the top which slips into the wall brace holding the two securely and equally flat to the wall on the back.The top unit has an arched back plate with bouquet of flowers in the center surrounded by two doves. Unusual appearance to the bowl with protruding designs and large indented circular areas either side,almost appearing as ears to the bowl face. Good size to hold any number of ferns or plants.The bottom oval heavy container with thick copper and brass handles with very secure hand forged hardware for each. Neither the handles or copper have been polished. Also good size for attractive display. Wonderful piece for interior or exterior where the copper would darken somewhat. Stunning as a kitchen or breakfast room wall hanging. All components in excellent condition for their period.Over all measurement is 22 H X 17 L X 9.5 D. Top planter interior measurement is 10.25 H to the rim, 11.5 L X 8.5 D. Bottom planter, 7 H X 12.5 L X 7.5 D.Item ID: KP38114
