19th century English hand carved wooden capitol make from one solid portion of an English oak tree. Very tight grained. Handsome carving with leaf,floral and curled arms. The wood has aged to a grand dark patina. Flat back.Two square holes in the top, one in the bottom where attached to the original pillar or such. Wonderful plateau displaying sculptures, artwork or bowl or tray of floral. Also handsome stand alone piece.Excellent condition. Measures 10.5 H X 10.5 D X 13.25 L.Item ID: WC37885
