Wonderful old carved oval mirror 19th century has an extremely wide frame with raised carvings throughout. Floral triangular carvings surround the mirror itself with rope design detailing outlining the mirror which is original and has aged to a smokey reflection with darker mottling. Reflects well with a ghostly or cloudy sheen. Frame in a cream with hint of light very pale blue/gray tone which mixes well with all colors and decors.Upon close examination,bits of the frame carving missing at some corners and right bottom yet was painted many years prior to even out the appearance which disguises any missing carving.The frame is solid and stable as well.
