Artist Biography: David Schneuer (Hungarian, 1905-1988) worked first as a poster designer/painter in Paris starting in 1927 until about 1932. He was arrested and briefly interred in Dachau in 1932 and upon release in 1933 moved to Tel Aviv where he died in 1988. Condition: Painting free of tears, repairs, or stains. Scattered spotting on picture mount.
