The Chinese Ming Dynasty porcelain bowl potted of shallow vessel, rounded cavetto emerged steep round sides further to flat wide opening, raised on a splayed countersunk tall foot base. The exterior hand-painted with purplish-blue underglaze of two five-claws dragons interspersed by cresting wavy water diaper. Banded with two fine rings under rim. The interior decorated with sea dragon within double fine rings comforting the cavetto. The clay fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. The high bowl displayed upon a carved hardwood stand.Mark under the exterior rim, four underglaze blue script -KaiShu-characters, Made in The Years of XuanDe Reign Period.
