A broad, pastel hued, Chinese, porcelain vase/ lamp of squat inverted baluster form with lug handle faces at either side of the shoulder, capped in brass, upon a sculpted, polished, wooden base. Large panel illustrations of a seated figure beckoning a youth in a garden are seen below large dangling ruyi heads, these painted with lotus flowers, under a band of smaller pink & yellow ruyi heads. A yellow & pink lapis band encircles the base against a sea green ground further decorated with floral sprays.
