A cylindrilical, Chinese, porcelain teapot with circular concave cover and wrapped wire handle, painted in the Cantonese manner with panel illustrations of: robed figures gathered by a window, and natures scenes with birds, flowers, & fruit , with butterflies, fruit, and flowers within foliate scroll over gilt and plain white grounds, the spout and interior area of the cover the only areas undecorated.
