|此作天禄之形，其形似狮，匍匐姿态，头颈向后，扭首张望，神情凝重，气韵非凡。整器造型饱满生动，四肢弯曲，长尾翘起，头部刻画真切自然，线条流畅，圆眼怒睁，神情毕肖，回首之势，雕刻合理，凝神张望之态，活灵活现，充满生命活力。天禄背部和头部满布褐色沁斑，沁色柔和舒缓，后头穿有一孔，形态小巧，包浆浑厚古雅，是一件盈手可握的把玩件，也可作为文房用具。|古代神话中，一角为「天禄」，二角为「辟邪」。〔宋符瑞志〕曰：天禄亦作天鹿，纯灵之兽也。集四方纯灵之气，开天地至圣之聪。
