An unusually decorated, Chinese, porcelain, famille rose plate, the central medallion with colorful waterfowl swimming amidst large lotus flowers, the rim painted with small figures of scholars and generals - some on horseback some riding mythical beasts within a band of lotuses and waves, the reverse with three small sprays of flowers in magenta. D: 8 3/4" (22.4cm) Condition: in fair condition with a number of shallow chips along the rim.
