A large, blue & bone-white, Chinese, porcelain plate with gently curving sides, the central medallion with four cranes and butterflies, their legs and wings intersecting the eight trigrams (within rings) with wafts of cloud at the circumference within concentric blue rings also at the inner rim, the reverse with a procession of figures (several on the backs of birds) moving towards a haloed "Shou-like" deity. The underside with six characters within concentric rings. D: 12 13/16" (32.5cm) Condition: In excellent condition, with unglazed imperfections in the body from the time of manufacture.
