In fact, Ray gave the first Professional Demonstration I had the privilege of attending. Over the years, Ray gave me, as well as many others, encouragement, inspiration and support with his usual charm and good humour.The approach I gave to the tribute piece was to maintain Ray’s shape and form but to reflect the outward appearance of a piece I presented at Loughborough in 2013, which he praised in the critique and later discussed with me in private.He will be sorely missed.The Ray Key Collaboration Auctionn
