Description

来源日本藏家旧藏此炉之形制自元代瓷器中即有之，明代铜炉之风尚多仿自前代官、哥、汝、定等瓷炉款式。此炉多为道家所用，宣德年间铸造铜炉，多分赐天下道观。明清至今，以其形制古雅、别致，常为玩炉之精品。此炉口沿外撇，向下渐收，直筒腹，厚平底，腹部两侧各有一螭龙攀爬，似戟耳装饰，底部为三个象首足。本件铜炉体格硕大，皮壳精亮纯熟，螭龙雕刻有力，为上佳制器。 款识：「大明宣德年制」
