Tapering cylindrical form with flared, round base, ear-shaped handle, scroll thumbpiece and slightly domed cover with baluster finial. Hammered, chased and embossed decoration. Rosettes enclosed within elliptical cartouches to body and lid. Engraved monograms to the base ''H.S. C.E. J.E.S.'' and dated 1697. Hallmarked (Seling 2007, hallmark number 180, maker's mark number 1140), master circa 1599, died in 1643. In addition, a hallmark with the monogram C.W.R.H. Assayer's marks. Height 12.5 cm. 257 grams. Getriebener, ziselierter und punzierter Dekor: auf Wandung und Deckel von glatten, geschwungenen Bändern umschlossene Rosetten. Auf dem Boden gravierte Monogramme "H.S. C.E. J.E.S." und Datierung 1697. Marken (Seling 2007, Bz. Nr. 180, Mz. Nr. 1140), Meister um 1599, stirbt 1643. Zusätzlich eine Punze mit dem Monogramm C.W.R.H. Tremolierstiche. H. 12,5 cm. 257 g.
