6th-4th century BC. A terracotta figure of Astarte(?) modelled in the half-round with dressed hair, pleated ankle-length robe gathered beneath bust and draped with trefoil finial to the frontal border, left hand to the side and right hand over the chest. 67 grams, 11.5cm (4 1/2"). From a private Netherlands collection; previously in an old collection since before 1980. [No Reserve]
