A square bronze fitting with hole to each corner, low-relief scene to each face: kneeling worshipper beside standing figure with deshret crown and hieroglyphs around; seated facing Isis with bull-horn crown and kneeling goddess (Hathor?) with wings spread. hieroglyphs in the field. 4.85 grams, 25mm (1"). Property of a Cambridgeshire lady; formerly in the Igor Karmiloff collection (1925-2016), UN economist and author of Flashbacks, Icons of Impermanence, Bloomington, 2009; acquired in the 1950s-early 1990s.
