A bronze figure of Fortuna standing in a draped stola with clasps to the shoulder(s) and band beneath the breasts; sandalled feet resting on a cruciform base; carefully dressed hair with tiara; left hand supporting a cornucopia with grapes and foliage; headdress developing to a cup supporting an urn with carinated body and flared mouth, radiating lobes to the rim, central spike within. 1.9 kg, 31cm (12 1/4"). From an important central London collection formed since the mid 1960s; thence by descent.
