A bronze statue of Venus (Greek Aphrodite) standing naked on a round base left leg bent at the knee; left hand holding a strand of hair, right held forward; stephane in hair. 456 grams, 16.5cm (6 1/2"). Property of a West Yorkshire collector; previously from an important West Yorkshire collection; acquired from Mr Jim Murphy at Wakefield Coin Fair in 1988; accompanied by an original Oxford Labs metal analysis report number 00659-2016RS.
