1st century AD. A bronze patera comprising a shallow bowl with inturned lip, basal ring, columnar handle with scroll decoration to the junction, wolf-head finial with open mouth and incised fur detailing. 340 grams, 27.5cm (10 3/4"). Property of a South London collector; acquired before 1980.
