A substantial bronze fitting comprising a tiered square base and globe supporting a galloping horse with detailed harness and bridle, openwork disc with mesh of tendrils, ledge to the rear with supporting strut. 1 kg, 26cm (10 1/4"). Ex an important Dutch collection; acquired on the European art market in the 1970s.
