A haematite cylinder seal with contest scenes, the seal showing a total of six main scenes on the two levels not separated by a line; below from left to right: 1) hero in knee-length robe fighting a lion-griffin 2) a rampant lion biting a buffalo's throat, both standing upright 3) two crossing lions attacking two upright antithetical caprids; top from left to right: 4) a bezoar goat turning backwards to the right, framed by two rampant lions 5) hero in knee-length robe breaking a lion's spine over his shoulder 6) a goat with a kid between his legs; in addition, two more lions, a goat-fish and seven balls, horror vacui.
