A substantial silver ring with thick ribbed hoop, transverse ribbed shoulders, bezel with tiered granulated collars and central female bust with wavy hair, possibly Venus (Greek Aphrodite"). Cf. The Alice and Louis Koch Collection, volume I, Leeds, 1994, item 288 for type. 22.17 grams, 22.98mm overall, 16.78mm internal diameter (approximate size British L, USA 5 3/4, Europe 11.24, Japan 10) (3/4").
