A hollow-formed ceramic figure standing wearing a floor-length bell-shaped robe with short sleeves; the arms held before the body, bent, the hands palm-upwards, shoes protruding from beneath the hem of the robe; the hair dressed in a top-knot; painted detailing to the face, pigment to the hair and robe. 23 kg, 97.5cm (38 1/2"). Property of a North West London gallery; formerly in a 1980s collection; accompanied by an original thermoluminescence test certificate issued by Laboratory Kotalla of Germany, report number 44PX040419.
