A pair of silver-gilt bow brooches of the kräftig profilierte 'anchor' type, both with a broad plaque in front of the spring and pin (one partial), trumpet-type bow with lateral flukes, D-section collar, flat footplate with lateral discs and knops, onion-shaped finial, broad footplate with catch to the rear. 77 grams total, 48-50mm (2"). Property of a gentleman; acquired in the late 1960s-early 1970s. [2]
