1st-3rd century AD. A mixed group of restrung glass bead necklaces comprising: one of alternating graduated blue oblate and smaller yellow seed beads; one of mainly blue biconical beads alternating with turquoise seed beads; one of graduated blue truncated cone-shaped beads, alternating with small white oblate beads, larger central blue feature bead and two segmented tubular beads to the ends; all with modern clasps. 87 grams total, 42.5-49.5cm (16 3/4 - 19 1/2"). The Signo collection, the property of a West London businessman, formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s. [3]
