A bronze figure of a boar sitting with forelegs straight; fur texture to the flanks and bristle ridge to the spine; mounted on a custom-made stand. 126 grams, 55mm (2"). Property of a West Yorkshire collector; previously in the Tony Goodchild collection; formerly with Chris Rudd, catalogue 58, 2001; found near Bristol, South West England, UK; accompanied by the original Chris Rudd invoice dated 14 June 2001, an original copy of catalogue 58, and copies of book plates of other similar known boar statuettes.
