1st century BC-1st century AD. A silver discoid mount with granulation to the rim, high-relief mask of the god Apollo to the upper face, side lappets folded to verso. Cf. Rolland, H. Bronzes Antiques de Haute Provence, Paris, 1965, item 18 for similar face of Apollo. 33 grams, 27mm (1"). Property of a gentleman; acquired in the late 1960s-early 1970s.
