Tuncahuan Period, 5th century BC-5th century AD. A ceramic footed bowl with conical body and flared foot, painted polychrome geometric patterns to the inner face, radiating bars to the outer. 582 grams, 21cm (8 1/4"). Property of a Cambridgeshire lady; formerly in the Igor Karmiloff collection (1925-2016), UN economist and author of Flashbacks, Icons of Impermanence, Bloomington, 2009; acquired in the 1950s-early 1990s; accompanied by a 1980s photograph.
