Pliocene Period, 5.2-2.5 million years BP. A very large Mammuthus primigenius woolly mammoth tooth, displaying some good root and chewing surface. 4.8 kg, 27cm (10 1/2"). From the collection of the palaeontologist R Gledhill collected between 1930 and 1960; found at the bank of the Lena River near of the city Yakutsk (Yakutia, North Siberia), Russia.
