Chinese Ming Dynasty blue and white wrapped floral porcelain plate. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, of a shallow vessel, broad wide cavetto, with a slightly flared lip and shallow draft, raised on a slightly raised footing. All reserved in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt fine blue color. The center interior medallion adorned with abundant chrysanthemum flowers blooms among tendril and foliage, banded with ribbon on the mid stalk, enclosed with triple fine blue rings lines. The mid interior decorated with various flowers blooms called three friend on the winter, interspersed with scrolling tendril and enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. The outer rim festooned with thrashing Lishui wavy water surround the plate. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the underglaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the base left unglazed with grayish creme-brown ground and dark spots of firing marks. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
