黄玉小鹅，以圆雕加镂空技艺琢制，鹅圆眼尖喙，足蹼隐于身下，双翅翘起并拢，尾部上卷，以疏朗的粗阴线饰翅、尾羽纹，造型生动，似正在梳理羽毛，富有高超的艺术表现力。背至腹下钻有直穿，用以绑缚绳结，便于挂佩把玩。据考古资料显示，宋、辽、金时期的墓葬中常有玉质禽鸟类小佩出土，拍品用料及雕刻技法与之一脉相承，颇具前代遗风。
