All four sides of the box are completely covered in rows of small swastikas. The sides and top are covered in led lacquer, the rest and inside of the box are black. The lid is decorated with a Chinese landscape of trees and a hill in the front, mountains and preumably a lake in the background. Two old, wise men dressed in robes and turned to each other are standing on the hill. The man on the righ is pointing his finger into the other man's direction. On the left man's side stands a little boy, who is pointing at the other man. The surface on the ground, the lake and the sky are decorated with different patterns. Slight crack can be found on the edges of the box, the lid design is fully intact.
