A Chinese necklace with 3 green jadeite and 2 coral carved plaques with jadeite and tourmaline chips for pendants, dating from Republic Period. The necklace is stamped "China" and "Silver" on the reverse. The jadeite plaques are carved with flowers, the coral plaques are carved with birds, fruit, and flowers. Dimensions are: each jade plaque measures 1 1/8 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide and the necklace is 16 3/4 inches long. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Overall good condition.
