This four piece set of scalloped plates uses famille rose the method of building an image through translucent glazes alongside the famille style of a red based color scheme and line-work - This first plate has a tall and distinct foot which is decorated with a teal wave motif. it’s outer walls have the same red design repeated three times and spaced out to to the right left and bottom of the plate. It’s center has pattern. It’s interior well depicts a bald man with distinct red lining who reaches out for an insect. Abose him is a large moth, which is thickly glazed like the mans clothing. ( 16.2 X 4 cm) Condition: in good condition with some damage to glaze - This plate depicts a man raising his arm in a protective manner as he stands in the center of the well. the same white underglaze as the negative space of the pot. D: 6.8 X 1.7 in. ( 17.3 X 4.3 cm) Condition: The plate appears to be in excellent condition with no sign of damage or restoration evident. - This Plate is scalloped into five petals, has a white under-glaze and a distinct foot which is decorated with a red pattern. Its outer walls have a wheat pattern which is repeated three times and it’s well has a floral illustration. D: 7.8 X 1.9 in (19.8 X 4.8 cm) Condition: in good condition with some fleabite chip to the rim. - This is the largest plate, it’s interior exterior has a white under-glaze. It’s well is decorated with two birds perched atop a tree branch from which several branches stretch out in bloom. It’s exterior walls are decorated with a red motif three times, and its foot has a red pattern. The underside has a red marking. D: 9.7 X 2.3 in. ( 24.6 X 5.8 cm) Condition: This plate appears to be in perfect condition with no sign of damage or restoration evident
