a pair of red lacquered plates. These early 20th century plates have identical structure, design and coloring. Their rim consists of exposed wood, while their inner lip has an intricate organic engraving. Their center depicts several figures in a garden and uses multiple examples of patterning. Their bottom has a geometric pattern reminiscent of leaves, which is framed by a metal inlay. 1- The bottom of this plate is distinct from the second as it has a gold painted plaque in its center.
