此水丞收口，斜壁外侈，圆垂腹，圈足。通体施窑变釉，釉面莹润光洁，紫红色较重，掺杂天蓝、月白两色流淌交融，变幻无穷，瑰丽璀璨。窑变釉为雍正时创烧的仿宋代钧窑品种，督窑官唐英在优秀艺师的配合下，反复试验和创新，改进传统的烧造工艺，使仿古的铜红窑变釉，无论从造型、装饰到釉色各方面都精美绝伦，达到历史上的最高水平。此器色彩斑驳瑰丽，美不胜收，艺术境界极为高远，珍品佳器，设之堂前，满室生辉。来源:补缺楼高丰旧藏
