直径15.6cm；厚0.4cm
重393g少见精美环钮，圆钮座，有四出叶瓣形。蟠螭相互缠绕、纷繁狡杂，体躯皆S形扭曲，细察之，则共有十六蟠螭，其中四蟠螭衔住镜缘内侧，其余皆相互衔尾，布局颇为对称，可谓繁而不乱。纹饰中有二十八个圈珠纹，分布匀称。镜缘有两圈重环纹构成。此镜与《中国铜镜图典》收录的147号铜镜在纹饰结构上比较相近，而重环纹镜缘也见于河南洛阳西工区出土的透雕龙纹方镜。（《中国青铜器全集》16·18）镂空镜的铸造十分狡杂，先分铸镜背和镜面，镜背要用镂空工艺铸作，再将两者复合而成。这件铜镜的纹饰精美而工艺精湛，为此类铜镜中的佳品。
