A RARE BRONZE OF BUDDHA IN A TRAVEL SHRINE, 19TH CENTURY Sino-Tibetan. The Buddha seated in padmasana on a sealed double lotus base, holding an alms bowl in his hands. The bronze inside an extendible cardboard and kesi brocade travel shrine, suspended on a string with porcelain and coral finials. (2) Condition: Fine condition with good natural patina, old wear, traces of use. Some of the brocade textile is lost. Extensive traces of use. Provenance: Austrian private collection. Weight: 67.8 g. Dimensions: Size 7.2 x 4.9 x 2.6 cm.
