A LACQUERED PAIR OF JEWELRY BOXES WITH POLO RIDERS, 1950s India, Srinagar, Kashmir. Lacquered wood. The two rectangular boxes with lacquered in black with polychrome polo riders in various attitudes. Marked on the base with a sticker identifying the maker as M.Qasim & Bro. Dalgate. Condition: Good condition, minor wear to lacquer. Provenance: Austrian private collection. Dimensions: Length 17.6 - 22.6 cm.
